What is it you want?.

What is it you want? I want everything!  I want nothing less!  I want the fullness of God made manifest in and through me where nations are healed and come to the full saving knowledge of God.  I want like Peter who carried the presence of God in such a way where people were healed as he walked past them.  I want to walk like Stephen waiting tables where miracles happened as he waited tables, and then under persecution would shine like Jesus, as stoned to death.  How much do I want it?  How much I am willing to sacrifice to get it? I have seen some of this but I want to see more.   Recently we have been coming under persecution and the Lord said to me "Sarah, what did you pray for?" and so like Smith Wigglesworth who held meetings where Pastors would walk out, who was not altogether liked for his 'style of ministry' but was known as the "Apostle of Faith", liked much better after death than life at times.  The Lord reminded me - Sarah w...

Oh yeah - the flood came!

After writing the blog yesterday boy did the flood come to my house it seemed and we are still recovering after the water has died down!.  Yes we are still standing, but boy it is a great reminder of the grace that the Father gives and where sin abounds grace abounds all the more!  And such a learning  time for me in loving without judgement for the same measure we give, we will receive.  And I realise with great thankfulness to the Lord that actually I have grown and moved from the place that I have been in the past and into a new place and am finding it much easier to love and forgive and not hold judgement over someone, a whole lot less conditional in my love - oh yeah - thank you Jesus! Now I have loads of things going around my head and I am reminded again that without grace and forgiveness I could not stand.  And in that reminder am able to give it to others where they sin and fall short of the glory of the Lord and stumble in their own walk.  A...

If a flood came would your house withstand?

I had some snapshot dreams the other day and the first one was I was putting up a tent, people where helping me, but then I was left alone to look after it at night. Then the next day I was walking with others through a town that had had a flood come through it and I noticed that some houses had been completely wiped away, some had their foundations of the house on a lean and people were still in them but were looking at alternate accommodation because their houses were going to be condemned and yet others were not even touched by the flood. Then I was doing this quiz with other people but I was on my own and hadn't fully understood the question yet I thought I had it sorted and so when the time came to hand it in I was completely on the wrong track and the people let me know.  I felt a bit stupid, but there was this sense it's okay, you'll get it next time. In reflecting on these snapshot dreams I realise that the tent is our human dwelling, that people help us estab...

Step Up & Step In - Fan into flame the gift of God 2 Tim 1:6

The mini conference that we are having at Life Church is titled "Step Up & Step In" - why?  Because we believe the Lord is calling for the charge to go forth.  There is an army ready and waiting to move forth together in the power of God to see transformation come into our nation.  And I believe that now is the time that He is calling those who believe to stand up in what they believe and step up into it by faith and action and see what He will do. It is no longer a time of needing to know your salvation is in Him which is all good and necessary but there is a call for maturity happening at the moment to take our salvation, everything that the Lord has deposited into us and step into seeing His Kingdom come here on earth as it is in Heaven.  We have a responsibility as children of God, as sons and daughters of the Kingdom to make His Kingdom known.  He has given us - you and I - the earth as our inheritance to rule and reign over and now he is saying to ta...

One of the biggest giants here in NZ - fear of man!

After writing that blog about the terminator, I realise I need to share something that I have found in New Zealand but it is not only New Zealand but everywhere I believe.  One of the biggest strongholds if you like that I have come across in the spirit is the fear of man, is of intimidation.  I may have shared this before but I find it in almost every church we head into, in the spirit, the thing that hits me and tries to stop me walking in my authority and who God has called me to be, or what he has called me to do in that place, is the fear of man. That comes out of that place as I said of not knowing who we individually are in Christ.  As 'Fathers Heart' courses have taught it, the "orphan spirit" if you like.  We don't know that we are each special and individually crafted and needed and wanted by God, then we compare ourselves with others, we fight with our brothers and sisters in Christ, we judge ourselves against others, we lift ourselves up over others ...

The Terminator rises again!

The movie terminator is for me the most horrible movie I cannot watch it because of this continual robot that just keeps on coming and will not die!  You think you have got him one minute and the next it gets back up and away we go again.  That is how it feels sometimes with the giants in our lives, we think they have been slain and then they rise to live again another day. In thinking about this I think why is it that the Terminator will not die.  What is it that makes it come back again and again.  In Christ the victory has been won.  In Rev 12:11 "the accuser has been hurled down"  how?  By the blood of the lamb and the word of the testimony!   Christ has already overcome whatever giant you have, and have had, in your life and that is why the blood is so important.  That is why sharing the testimonies of Christ in our lives has so much power because it testifies of the victory that has been won. Why is it then that if the victory has a...

Are you a 'boy racer' and live for the moment or is your attitude that of Christ Jesus who made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant. Phil 2:1-11

Last night I had a couple of dreams and in these I saw people having fun in the spiritual realm, playing if you like with the things of the spirit.  And other people were buying gifts for people or helping people.  There were almost two camps of people, those who were having fun in the spirit, but it was all about them and short lived fun, while the other people were investing in and helping other people. One of these dreams I saw like young boys, boy racers really coming up the hill but racing in their cars and zooming around some who were already there, but then racing off the other side and then I saw three of them walking back with their right arm cut off and now just limbs.  The others in the car never came back, they had taken off in a different direction to get away from the authorities because of the mess they had caused. When pondering this I really felt that God was saying that people are going to rise quickly in the things of the spirit, but like that of bo...
