2014 A year to come out of hiding - "Arise my beautiful one, Let me see your face, let me hear your voice"

The time is now, the clock is ticking, it is now time for us to step up and step out in those dreams and visions that The Lord has put on our hearts no longer waiting for approval from man because The Lord has already given us permission.  Fear of man no longer has any hold on us, the accuser of the brethren  has also been cast down by the blood of the lamb and the word of the testimony - Rev 12.

Too many of us have been derailed from our destinies through needing approval of man and the ways things are 'done',  instead of seeking and seeing the approval of God and I know for myself this has been an issue.  We listen more to what man says or is not saying than we are believing what The Lord says and in so doing put man above God and in turn dishonour The Lord.  We need to repent for holding higher man than God and ask that God would remove the veil from our eyes, so that we can see clearly with no specs getting in the way, through eyes of love and openness and truth.
I had a dream the other day where the enemy was portrayed as a cartoon character trying to kill me, but that once shot with the word of God and of truth,  it just disappeared.  Also another dream where the deceiver was just like a miniature war set that you play with and it is intimidating you to think it is bigger than you are, while in the spirit we are giants and they are nothing.   A bit like David and Goliath, David seemed smaller while Goliath the giant, but in truth Goliath was nothing under the hand of God. Our weapons are not of this world, we are to speak the truth to every lying deceiving thing that exalts itself above who our God is and what He is able to do in and through us.

Something The Lord has shown me this past week is that a cord of three strands is not easily broken and that the cords that make up those three strands are 'faith' 'hope' and 'love' and against such things there is no law.  If we are a people who walk in faith, hope and love, and of course grace, then no weapon can derail us any longer.  However if we step out in a fighting spirit, of retaliation, of justice, of wanting our rights, of pride and not being willing to receive from people the truth that might set us free because The Lord says we will do this or that, and don't come in a spirit of humility, of honour, of lifting the others up over ourselves, of listening, of patience and trust that God will do what He said he will do, then we are coming from a wrong spirit and are open to anything that might come our way.  We can no longer blame God for our situation but ourselves and once recognising this, need to repent and seek forgiveness from The Lord and whomever we may have dishonoured in the process.  Also make sure you are holding short accounts with people and seek unity and peace so get things sorted quickly if it has anything to do with you.

God is love and as it says in 1 Cor 13, we can have all the gifts of man, but if we have not love, we have nothing (my condensed version) and love lifts others up before oneself, its a position of humility before man and the fear of The Lord as you want to obey what He says.  It lifts others needs above your own trusting that God will make a way for your own needs to be met, your own visions and dreams to be realised, as we trust in him and serve who The Lord has put in front of us.

Humility is so important in this hour not only towards those that we are called to help but also to those who would want to help us and if we don't listen to those around us we will hit something that God did not intend or plan that we hit and is not the best he has for us.  I saw a wonderful thing in Portugal the other day, it was a one way street that had a stop sign every few metres and it gave you opportunity to turn at each sign and I laughed as I wondered why we would need so many signs that we are going down a one way road and given opportunity to turn, but for some reason we ignore the signs and still don't take the paths that would stop us hitting a crash scene as an obstacle comes the other way at us.  We need to humble ourselves to those around us and listen and receive from them not thinking that we know all the answers and see the stop signs in front of us and turn a path that would lead to life.

So I want to encourage you to throw out your net again even if you are tired and weary and let The Lord lift you up.  It is a new day, the time of harvest is here, has always been here, but there is a supernatural wind of the spirit blowing over the earth right now that is shifting how things have been done in the past.  There is a rumbling happening that is shaking things up and Gods order is being put in place and it is time to take those opportunities you have been longing to see.  Isaiah 41:10 says "Fear not, for I am with you, Be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you.  I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."  (Continue to read on as there is good stuff to be gleaned in this chapter of Isaiah)
But I believe the winter is past and its a new season, a new year and its a time of celebration and inheritances coming into being, so step out of the shadows and come into the light and show the world who Jesus is through you.

Its a time of open doors
Song of Solomon 2:10  "My beloved spoke and said to me:  Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away.  For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.  The flowers appear on the earth, The time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.  The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell.  Rise up, my love, my fair one and come away!  O my dove in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff.  Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice for your voice is sweet and your face is lovely."

I also believe it is a time of multiplication, so be expectant for more than you think, ask or imagine and I also believe The Lord is releasing creative miracles, so have faith and step out in boldness and see what The Lord will do with your little bit of faith as His wind of the spirit blows on it and spreads it around.    I also believe the supernatural realm will be made manifest with more visual demonstrations as previously seen as you declare by faith what you see. God will back you up with a sign or a wonder to confirm the word as signs and wonders follow the preaching of the word.  So preach the word and be expectant for God to turn up and prove himself.  Remain child like in faith and boldly declare what you see and believe and God will honour your faith, even if you don't see it instantly, know that the person or situation you prayed for will see it.  Don't try to work things out as that stops your child likeness of faith and trust in The Lord, Just Believe.

Have fun this year with what The Lord is going to do in and through you, but remember it is The Lord who wants all the glory, praise and honour that is due His name.

 Isaiah 42:8-10
"I am The Lord, that is My Name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor my praise to carved images.
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them"
Sing to The Lord a new song,
And His praise from the ends of the earth."

I share this with you in love and faith in what I believe The Lord is saying and I pray that the spirit would confirm or deny to yourself if this is a true and right word of The Lord.
Many blessings!

Obedience and Commitment are big things in Gods Kingdom

Reading in Acts 7 this morning the story through Stephen of Abraham being told by God to " Leave your country and your people and go the the land I will show you"   So he left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. After the death of his father, God sent him to this land where you are now living.  He gave him no inheritance here, not even a foot of ground.  But God promised him that he and his descendants after him would possess the land, even though at that time Abraham had no child." As I reflected on this and the journey of Abraham stepping out in faith into a land that he received no inheritance in but a promise of what was to come for his descendants of which we live in the fruit of that, I thought of todays generations in which often is only doing things that we want to do or that will benefit us personally as we live for 'today' not worrying about tomorrow.  A sense of if it feels good then do it, if it doesn't then we will move on -  perhap...

The baby's been handed over

Several weeks ago the Lord shifted us out of the 'home office' into the 'market place' and in the process a spiritual shift happened - one of letting the 'baby' go, a releasing and handing over the batten, so to speak to others. In this process the nests that WE ALL have been in have been stirred up, shaken about, and pushed out, to fly in ways that perhaps we were too afraid to do previously. The amazing thing with God is that He knows the timing of all of this and where each one of us is at and what we can handle.  Yes there has been a fluttering of wings in panic.  Yes, we have had a few weeks of challenge as authority and structures get changed and challenged, frustrations coming to the fore, but love helps us overcome,  love helps us to forgive,  love helps us to see the good and not the dirt, love helps us remember our own failings and yet forgiveness and grace that the Lord has for me, that I can give to others, remembering it's the glory of G...

The lie of a lack of spiritual fathers and mothers

My ponderings this morning. I believe we have a generation (of which I am a part of) at the moment who believe that there were not the spiritual mothers and fathers who taught them in the things of the spirit; of the way they should go etc. I believe to some extent there is truth, we don’t seem to have seen the ‘spiritual hero’s’ that we  want to follow in our daily worlds around us. But I also believe that our generation or those who don’t believe there have been the spiritual parents, actually need to repent for not honouring the ones that the Lord has put in their lives and in which we have not received them as such and honoured what they inputted into our lives. There have always been people around us sowing into our lives, sowing truth, sowing help and hope, but because it has not come the way we expect it, we have not honoured what those people have brought. Sometimes too those people sow into our lives with truth that we don’t want to hear and so we walk away from those ...

"And now these three remain: faith. hope and love." 1 Cor 13:13

Two pictures things the Lord has given me over the last 10 days. Firstly; Prior to going to Christchurch I had this vision where I saw this massive tree falling to the ground and taking out people around them as it fell. Then this morning I was reading in Matt 3:10 and it reminded me of that vision I saw. Matt 3:10 says “The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.” It’s a powerful word of warning that if we are living supposedly Godly lives and yet are not living lives that produce fruit in keeping with repentance,  the fruit of love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, etc, the fruit of the spirit that is found in Gal 6, then I believe we will see people who are big people to those around them, people who are leaders etc. fall and cause damage. Secondly; Something that startled me yesterday as I was sleeping, I woke up to the sound of a clanging symbol....
I shared last night about 1 Cor 15:36 "What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body..." I was preaching on it last night and it will come up in video form later in the week on the GRM sight, mainly reflecting on we can sow things one way, but God raises it up as HE determines how it should look. But this morning I got more revelation which will be quite obvious to some, but to me it struck me afresh. When we sow something it get's buried, it cannot be pulled back up. It no longer has 'connection' with 'me' if you like. It gets 'covered over' unable to be pulled up. And yet I recognise in my own life how we can sow something but there are still 'strings attached' as such as we often are still determining or expecting it be rai...

Things to ponder from the book of Luke

Some powerful stuff out of the book of Luke this morning that spoke to me  17:10 " So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty'"  This really spoke to me how we expect and want the praise from man for what we do and yet we have only done what we were asked to do when we freely gave ourselves as bondslaves/servants to christ so why should we expect praise from man or from God? The other thing - actually there was heaps this morning out of Luke so take a look, but 18:8 "However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"  The one question about will Jesus find people of faith who believe in what they have not yet seen?  It is only faith that pleases God and so to be a people of faith.... A challenge. One more thing that I have to share is Luke19:11-27 the parable of the Ten Minas and about being faithful with what you have, but v24 "Then he said...
