Have you been asking for a shift and don't know how to do it?

Over the course of the past few days I saw a couple of pictures I would like to share.

1.  I saw a real estate agent coming and helping prepare to shift a person.  The person had lots of rubbish to deal with that needed to be put in black rubbish bags and taken out.  I kept coming along and checking on the progress.  Initially the real estate agent had a suit and tie on but as he put his hand in to help the person get ready for the shift, he took more and more clothes off as he was  mucking in and helping doing the work.  Eventually all the rubbish had been cleared up and taken out and the real estate agent turned round to the person on the couch and gave him some money.

2.  I saw a bunch of people all standing together in the water, but the water wasn't moving, the people weren't moving and like any pool of water if you stand in the pool for a long time without movement you get cold.  I saw myself getting out of the pool and moving on because if I stayed there I would go cold and numb.

"Go and make disciples of all nations"
Matt 28:19
My interpretation of the first picture is that I believe there are people who have been asking the Lord how to step into what He has called them to, but they haven't known how to do it, or perhaps its been too overwhelming in where to start, but I believe the Lord is releasing the angelic realm to help take you from one place to another.  You won't be alone in it, he will send you the help you need in order to shift you to where you are to be.  As the shift takes place you will find provision given to you in ways you didn't expect.  It may take some time, but don't be discouraged, he is there with you, alongside helping you to keep going.

The second picture:  I believe in the body of Christ we have gathered as a people in the Holy Spirit which has been great and it has grown us, but if you continue to camp around in the meetings and don't move with what you have, you love and your fire will grow cold.    It's important to 'go' out with what you have, not stay and stagnate in gatherings, the 'water' needs to be moving and flowing in order for us not to go cold.  So I encourage you not to 'camp' around what you have but move out, stir up the gifts within you and go with courage and boldness into the things God has called you to.

When we step in by faith to the things God has called us to, that is where the joy everlasting lies, so I encourage you today, if you haven't known how to step into the next step, just ask the Lord to send his ministering angels to help you.  Just one step, and then the next step will follow.  We don't need to  know all the answers to all the questions we have before we step out. Often the first step is the hardest but as we step out, the next one opens up.  Jim and I have many testimonies as we have stepped out in faith, as I am sure you too have,  not knowing all the answers but as we have stepped out ,the answers and the provision has come.

2 Timothy 1:6-7  "For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in your through the laying on my hands.  For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but give us power, love and self-discipline."

And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age. Matt 28:20

Four visions I share this morning:

  1. Rubbish & Fruitfulness,
  2. Spiritual Deception,
  3. Open Door for Ministry and New Doors,
  4. Solid food and abundance.

Last night I had a series of visions which I share with you as one may be a word in season for you.  I haven't added scriptures at this point to back them up because I am preaching in church this morning and need to keep going.   But if you want to know more about any of them, or they speak to you, or you want scripture that speaks to all of these (as it does for each situation), then please feel free to email me on and I can pray into with you.

1.    Getting rid of the rubbish.  A time of removal of the things that clutter up your lives. A time where you get rid of things you no longer need, that are broken, no longer working etc in order to become more fruitful.

I saw a picture of a car and trailer going to get rid of the rubbish and man opening a path on the highway in order for you to get through.  I believe God is going to make a way for you to get rid of some of the rubbish, clutter, stuff, you no longer need in your lives.  He is going to lead you to a place in order to get rid what you no longer need so you can be fruitful in what He has called you to do.

2.    Warning – Spiritual deception
I saw an aquarium where there were of all sorts of fish in the water and then I saw a shark trying to break through the glass trying to come in to where we were standing and so I sounded the alarm.  And then I saw a blue snake in the grass and we had to be careful we didn't stand on it.
There are all sorts of fish in the water but some of them are predators, for example sharks and yet they are in the water with all the other fish.  So too in the spirit, there are all sorts in Christ, especially in the 'heavenly' arena and the exploration of the things in heavenly places.  But the word of God says they come dressed in an angel of light.  They look good and sound good on the outside, but their hearts are wicked and intent on causing harm.  And like the blue snake, blue often represents heavenly things, but a blue snake to me hidden in the grass is one of deception.

We need to be careful of spiritual deception.  Some ways I safeguard myself against spiritual deception that may be helpful for you;

·      “I am hearing more about Jesus or about angels?”
·      “Is what I am learning leading me into a deeper more Christ like nature, which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Kingdom of God”
·      Does this make me come across more spiritual than other people and something they can’t easily attain to without ‘works’?
·      Can the ‘ordinary’ ‘simple’ person receive the same?
·      If I share this with a non-believer, would it lead them to Christ?
·      Is love of God and of others at the centre of it?
·      Can they confess that Jesus Christ was born of the flesh?
·      Are they able to forgive those who have hurt them?
·      Are the people who are teaching this able to submit to authority and walking with others in the body of Christ, in fellowship with good Godly people of good reputation?

3.    The water has risen and you can no longer walk on the path you once wanted too.

I saw this picture of someone heading down to a jetty but others couldn’t go because there was no path back, and the water had overtaken the path.
Others could still go there but there were others who no longer could.
The jetty being a ‘preaching platform’ and I believe God is going to open up a door for someone to walk through.  I believe there is a big door about to open for someone who desires to come alongside a big ministry in which you will join them and come alongside them as they minister.
But also for those who once desired these things, don't become jealous as God has moved you on to new things and you can no longer go back to the 'old wineskin' so to speak, he has new things for you to walk in.

4.    Shop - Solid Food
Going into a shop for some food and needing something more than just crisps, needed some ‘solid food’.  All they had was a bacon and egg pie so bought the bacon and egg pie.
·      Junk food, fleshly desires,
·      Solid food, the word of God.
Once you have had the solid food, you can’t go back on milk.   God wants you to eat of His word, of His solid food that will fill you, restore you and refresh you.  When you eat of the fleshly desires, it is short lived, and profits nothing but His word will bring life and life abundantly.

You will be hated by everyone - oh yay!

I am reading some 'meaty' scriptures this morning from Matt 10

v16  "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves.  Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.  Be on your guard, you will be handed over to the local councils and be flogged in the synagogues. ....v22 You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved."  v26  "So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed or hidden that will not be made known.
v32  "Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my father in heaven."

For many I believe we have this image that in Christ and in His love and showing his love to all around that it is just going to be wonderful.  But what I have found, and perhaps this is just my experience, but the more I have gone deeper in the Lord, in His love, the more I have been persecuted, hated by people I come in contact with, spiritual challenged at every corner, threatened with all sorts of things.

For me, the more I love on Jesus, the more I get opposition, people walking away from me, and I wonder, ponder and question with the Lord about what I am doing that people have walked away? And what I am learning is that there is a clash of Kingdoms.  Light exposes the darkness.  Often times it leaves me feeling hurt, rejected, not wanted, questioning, but what the Lord is showing me is the overwhelming pure love of God, the unconditional love of God, the forgiving nature of God, the freedom found in God can be too much for people at times.

In the quiet He is there
And so when reading these scriptures this morning, I am reminded once again, "It's okay Sarah, what is happening is part of what it is being a Christian.  This is the walk of those who follow me, what you are going through is to be expected and a part of life.  I am teaching you how to be shrewd, I am teaching you how to forgive and to love those who persecute you, I am teaching you not to be afraid".

So I share some of my encouragements from the Lord this morning.
Have a great day!

This Easter "Go again"

To watch the live message preached, click on this link

Are you feeling discouraged, tempted to give up on what the Lord has told you, 'believing and yet not really believing' because you haven't yet seen the promise in which the Lord has given you.   Perhaps for healing, for your children, for your ministry?
I want to encourage you this morning "Go again", don't give up, the promise is on the way.
"Though there be no fruit on the vine, yet will I rejoice in the Lord." (Ham 3:17)
There is this sense for some that it's been a hard long road and it feels like there is no fruit from all the labour, yet the Lord would say to you this morning "Go again".  Don't give up, keep going.

Like Elijah who in 1 Kings 18:41-45 tells the story of hearing the rain coming in a time where there was a drought and yet he heard the sound.  "Go and look toward the sea"... "There is nothing there"....Elijiah said "Go back"...The seventh time the servant report "A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea.  Habakkuk was asking the question -  "How long, O Lord must I call for help...."  v5  The Lord's answer - Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed.  For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.....2:2  For the revelation awaits an appointed time, it speaks of the end and will not prove false.Though it linger, wait for it, it will certainly come and will not delay."

Today is Resurrection Sunday

Jesus was dead, he was buried, the dream, the promise was over, or so it seemed.....
Does it look like there is no hope left?
Does it look like your dream is over?

Today brings hope in the midst of death

  • A day where dreams and promises that have died came back to life
  • A day where hope arose again in the hearts of man
  • A day where victory overcame death.
Lets believe again, lets be a people who live by faith and not by sight, LET HOPE ARISE in the midst and that the Lord would say to you this morning "Go again"

Our words create our worlds

Last week I had a vision and I saw fire coming up from the ground and water coming from the sky, it was chaos and people were running for their lives as disaster struck.

I was asking the Lord about it as it felt like judgement coming and I was trying to reconcile judgement with my God that I know who loved the world so much that he sent his only son to die for us not to condemn the world but to save the world, and he said to me - Sarah "your words create your world."
Everything God created was good and in Genesis we see God gave Adam and Eve dominion over the earth.  And through Jesus, God has given us authority and dominion over the earth, the same authority he gave Jesus now lives in us to those who believe.  And I realised that as a people we can reap what we sow in respect of our words.  The power of the tongue is powerful, it either tears down or builds up, life and death is on the power of the tongue.  In John 1:14  "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."  And so as a people we need to be careful that we do not bring judgement but that we bring life, we bring hope, we bring healing, we bring restoration, we bring faith and not fear, we bring honour instead of dishonour, we bring joy for mourning etc etc.

We have a huge responsibility currently with the events that have taken place over the last week in New Zealand, and other events happening around the world, and also in respect of an earlier preaching I had at the beginning of the year, that "we are on the brink of war and we needed to watch what we said and what we did" (see the video recording).  Lets' be a people who speak life, who speak and bring love to a broken and hurting people.

Isaiah 61
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion -
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks or righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendour."

Aphids and Slugs - Resisted or Received?

The last week or so I have had some very powerful pictures through my garden and life in which the Lord used to speak to me that I would like to share.

The first picture:

160623_090.jpgWhile caring for my roses, I notice that one particular rose is not doing well and I see aphids and disease on the plant and so I spray it again hoping that it will kill what is attacking them.  A week later I see it has not been effective and so I am prompted to try another different form of disease killer, an oil rather than the pesticide, and the Lord speaks to me;
"Sarah, what was used in the last season, won't work for this new season".

We are in a different season, and the way we ministered or dealt with things in the past, won't work in this new season we are in.  The reason being we (as a people) have become 'familiar' with the styles and ways of ministering and hence the 'enemy' is already aware of it and becomes 'resistant' to it.
A bit like how our antibiotics aren't working these days because we have become resistant to it.  So we need to be asking the questions of the Lord - How is it now Lord that you would have us minister? How is it now Lord that we are to present the message that will be 'received rather than resisted?'
Asking the Lord the questions of our own lives in areas that we may have become familiar in.
For example; The way we treat our spouses, our children, the way we move in the anointing, the language and tones that we may use, that may not be getting the desired response it should be etc.

The second picture:
Jumping up from my bed I automatically switch on the coffee machine but suddenly the sparks start flying and smoke starts rising from my power point.  I run and switch off the mains as recommended by a friend and I try to work out what has happened to the power plug. We find as we open up the power point there is a slug weaved around the power connections causing it to fry.  What a powerful picture for me.  There are 'slugs' destroying the power of the body of Christ.
Fried slug :)
For many of us I believe we have become sluggish in our "familiar" and not taken hold of the truth and waged war with our familiar in our lives and hence are not seeing the fruit of which we are believing for.  Things have become 'entrenched' and a part of us that it has become who we are, but in actual fact is not we are called to be as a new creation in Christ and is in actual fact  hindering the power that could be ours in Christ.

Prov 6:9
"How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest -
and poverty will come on you like a bandit
and scarcity like an armed man."

If we find ourselves going around in circles not seemingly getting the breakthrough or the promise that is ours in Christ, then perhaps there are areas that we have become "familiar" with that need to shift and change in order for the 'flow' to be released, for the blockages to be removed.  It is easy to say "that is just who I am' but in actual fact that behaviour pattern, that default pattern is not who we are in our new nature in Christ.  And we have allowed it to remain instead of going deeper in the Lord and  dealing with them with the truth of the word of God.  It takes courage to take a 'true' look at ourselves and even perhaps the words we speak over ourselves or others.  It's helpful if we have friends that love us that we can allow to speak into our lives as they can be a fresh set of eyes, have different life experiences, can look at things differently to you and can help with our blind spots.  Someone who is not afraid to challenge you to a new way of seeing or thinking and will encourage you to push through whatever challenges that come.  God has the best for us and wants us to be walking in all that He has paid for at the cross.

So I encourage you in this blog, firstly to allow the Lord to take you into 'new places' in Him, not remain in the familiar of what we know which will hinder all that He has for you and for the body of Christ as a whole.  That we would be a people who allow the challenge of those who love us and can see from a different perspective, to take us deeper into a place of being 'more fruitful'.  Pray that Lord would reveal those things that have wrapped around us without even knowing.  And I pray that you would be released into all the new and good things He has for you and for those around you.  Many

Prov 3:5
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him
and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones."
