Missions
Missions is very much on our heart and in Lord, we will go anywhere.  We have been very blessed to be able to minister into several nations and find that our hearts are bigger than physically we are able to do or be for all the needs out there.  Covid has restricted travel in the last couple of years but believe we will be on the move again soon God willing.

We get asked regularly for practical help particularly from Africa and India and much of which we cannot help and only  spiritually.  However we would love to be able to put much more into missions, should finances, time and availability be there.  We love people in all nations and love to go where God would send us and so we trust in Him for his leading and guiding in where and when.

Please stand in prayer with us for these nations, for the lost and lonely, for God to meet every need.  Thankyou!

If you have never done a missions trip why no consider going on one?

There are many reasons why to do a short term missions trip but essentially it opens your eyes to things that you have not seen or experienced, it enlarges your world view.

  • It challenges you to step out of the box that you may find yourself in without even realising it.
  • Often short term missions trips depending on what you are doing, tend to be more about what the Lord is showing you and teaching you personally in your relationship with Him.
  • Also it gives opportunity for learning within a team environment which in itself shows you things about yourself and how you deal with people.
  • It is also a blessing to be able to bless, refresh and bring things to those people who you are going to.

There are a lot of benefits of doing a short term missions trip and I have only listed a few that just come to mind.

We have many resources we can point you towards, different mission organisations, different countries, different connections, so if you are interested at all please feel free to chat with us all the different options out there.

Recently we have been pondering how to deal with situations in our family that don't line up with the word. What do Kingdom finances look like?

I was asked by someone the other day what Kingdom finances looked like and I realised that this is an area that needs some discussion. This is my opinion of what Kingdom finances look like according to what the Lord has taught me over the years and to scriptures I have been shown, but I am not the be all and end all to thinking, so it is something you might want to check out for yourselves. The way of the world is to store up riches, to save for a rainy day, to have enough to protect themselves should something happen, that I have earned this and it is mine and therefore I can do what I want with it. The way of the Kingdom is a way of giving to the poor, giving to God's people in need and practicing hospitality, of not worrying about tomorrow, of trusting God for the future and His provision in that time of need when it arises, of everything is His (God's). “I am ruined for the ordinary” A statement that can possibly be to some, come from a place of judgement, or it can be from a place of there is more in the Kingdom of God that I am yet to experience or understand, revelation that I have tasted of something that actually shows me that I have not tasted of anything yet.  A place where there is such a contentment and joy in what I have seen and longed to see and yet a revelation that there is way more "beyond what I think, ask and imagine" (Eph 3:20) and one that spurs me on to seek and discover all the fullness that could be ours in the Kingdom of God. May Newsletter - Africa in June

23 May 2012 Dear friends and partners, Psalm 34:1-3 I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the Lord; Let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; Let us exalt His name together . This was in my journal this morning and was so appropriate for where things are at.! God’s timing is just amazing.  In the last update Jim’s work was coming to an end but the Lord had spoken about Step Up & Step In – the mini conference we had earlier this month, which because of the Lords timing in less work for Jim enabled him to concentrate on preparation for the conference.  The conference was such a blessing and everything the Lord had been teaching us over the years was released in the peace, rest and freedom then reigned over it.  There is a more detailed description of the event on the blogsite (gloryreleaseministries.blogspot.com) along with photos, so have a look there if you ...

Francistown, Maun & then?????

Prov 11:25   "A generous man will prosper , he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed."  Well we are now in Maun after a very exciting meeting in Francistown where the joy of the Lord was released and people set free.  It was so much fun seeing the tears rolling and then the joy coming.  Now in Maun after another 6 hour bus journey.  We have already done one meeting last night after arriving and have another three lined up until Sunday evening and now also a meeting for the leadership again tomorrow morning.   So we need refreshing but the Lord is refreshing us and giving us what we need.  Interesting what we are learning in the spirit and the strongholds over peoples lives and asking the Lord for breakthrough in their situations.  Some places no problem but other places its is really hard ground that is needing breakthrough.  We would ask you to pray for keys to see the breakthrough come in this place.  Jim is preaching tonight...

Whats in the garage?

The garage, a place of storage, a place of dealing with things later when time allows, a place often  of mess.  That's whats in our garage anyway. I woke up out of my sleep last night with this 'there's something in the garage'.  So at midnight I woke up Jim and got him out checking out the garage and I found the cars had been left unlocked outside with the windows down, the water heater in the prayer room (one of our garages) was still on from the prayer time that morning, milk on the bench and so thankful that I was woken to check things out. But after this I then had another dream and in this dream we were quests at someone's home invited for dinner but in this home after dinner the host was so concerned about her home and the particular way her curtain was hung it was really fascinating.  She was so wrapped up in her house and how things should be done that she failed to notice her husband sitting on the chair waiting to talk to her and in the end he got up ...
